Hey guys, how are you today? I am so excited to share this recipe with you because it's so flavorful and comforting that you will find each taste separately but in the meantime when they are together and ready to eat the savors exploit your taste buds! 😋 I can eat it every day...

In my country, we say: "this soup is for raising the dead" 😂 and indeed it is, this is my way to make it but my family said to me why you don't post the recipe on the blog? this is too good to keep for ourselves, and yes they are right, by the way, they asked me to make it each week so I am glad you can have it as well.

I have been sharing dessert recipes lately but it's time to bring you some savory comfort foods, right? so anyone that can see my posts shouldn't say... doesn't she make any food? 😂 this is not true at all but some of the people on my list got back to my emails and they asked for dessert, and I have forgotten to post the savory ones, that's why I do want interactions if you don't mind, could be here in the comments below, in my Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest pages or on my email, this way I will know what are your concerns or if you want me to develop a recipe for something that you are craving for, how this sound to you?

This recipe is so easy to make, grab everything, put them on the counter, add each in the order I am going to tell you, and in less than 30 minutes you and your family are eating, so simple but so good.

Filled with good quality ground beef, proteins for the bone broth as well, and lots of vegetables that add vitamins, minerals, fiber, tubers that add the starch (carbs), fiber, and good fats, and the result is a happy belly, and mind! and besides all those benefits it gives us paleo, whole30, keto, gluten-free, dairy-free, and extremely delicious, and nourishing! 😋

Everything is made in a large pot (5 quarts) or in an Instant Pot that I love, and it is where I browned the ground beef with salt, oregano, black pepper, and at the end the sliced onion, minced garlic, why do I do that? because I like the special flavor that transmits the meat when it's browned well instead of boiling it.  Add the frozen vegetables if they are fresh but if they are frozen you will add them almost at the end of cooking if you want them crispy instead of bland.

Then you'll add the broth, tomato paste mixed with it, the rest of the spices, chopped potatoes, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes, let them boil or set the pressure cooker to 4 minutes (what I did), release all the steam, open it, add the canned diced tomatoes with the juice, frozen vegetables and let it boil for 4-5 minutes more. When done, taste it, add anything it needs, and drop the sliced cabbage, do not cook it anymore, take the pot off the pressure cooker but put the lid on, and let the heat soften the sliced cabbage a little bit.

If you made it, and want to freeze a part of it for late use when is just to room temperature, in individual containers, defrost it, and warm it up.

You don't need anything more with this succulent, and nutritive soup, but maybe slices of bread to accompany it, like my Easy Cassava Sandwich BreadProtein Filled Cashew-Tahini Bread, Taro Root Plantain Bread,  a Salty-Spiced Sweet Potato Bread, Paleo Rustic Brioche Bread, or this Sandwich Bread. The election is all yours.

Some people like to add cheese on top of the soup, it's up to you to do that, there are a ton of cheeses to choose from vegan, nut cheeses, dairy-free, etc., or a dollop of my coconut cream cheese recipe will be a great addition to it.

As you see it is very customizable, if you are on a Keto diet, take off the potatoes, add less quantity of sweet potatoes, carrots, and butternut squash, add more zucchini instead of, and any other vegetable lesser in carbs to your liking but if you are Vegan this is an incredible vegetable soup, add vegetable broth, follow all the steps for the vegetables, add high protein vegetables, and vegan cheese, and you'll have a comforting soup recipe.😉

The recipe serves around 8-10 people           
                                                                    


Ingredients:
  1. 2 pounds ground lean (85 %) beef defrosted
  2. 8 cups beef bone broth protein (homemade or store-bought)
  3. 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
  4. 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  5. 1/4 cup Ketchup (homemade or store-bought)
  6. 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  7. 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce or my substitute for it)
  8. 1 tbsp oregano
  9. 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  10. 1 tsp basil
  11. 1 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to your liking)
  12. 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  13. 1/2-1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to your liking or leave it out)
  14. 1 tsp smoked paprika
  15. 2 large celery stalks chopped
  16. 2 medium fresh tomatoes chopped into cubes
  17. 1 large onion sliced
  18. half of the large red bell pepper, sliced
  19. 5 large garlic cloves minced
  20. 3 cups frozen or fresh sliced vegetables (carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, peas, water crest, green beans, cauliflower, or anything you like the most and fits your diet)
  21. 2 1/2-3 cups thinly sliced cabbage
  22. 1/4 cup torn parsley leaves
  23. 2 medium red potatoes chopped and cubed
  24. 1 medium sweet potato chopped and cubed
  25. 1 cup of butternut squash chopped and cubed
  26. 2 tbsp coconut oil, avocado, or virgin olive oil

How to Make All-In-One Pot Best Hamburger Soup?

Turn on the Instant Pot in the sautee option, add the oil until hot then add the defrosted ground beef with salt, and black pepper to brown it, break the large pieces on one side and turn around to have it develop a nice golden brown color.

Add the dry spices, and minced garlic stir well until translucid, and continue stirring it, this step is to make sure your meat tastes amazing with or without the soup, add the sliced onion, and red bell pepper now you will add the raw vegetables if you are using them, stir them with the ground meat for about 3 minutes, but if you have frozen vegetables, don't put them, only add the broth with the tomato paste, and ketchup, and when broth starts to boil add the cubed root vegetables. 

Chance the setting to pressure cooker for 4 minutes, put the lid on, and wait for it to get cooked, release the steam immediately when it beeps, and take off the lid.

Turn on the pressure cooker again because we are adding the frozen vegetables, the fresh chopped tomatoes, and the can of diced ones without the lid to boil for 4-5 minutes more, when this time is finished, taste the soup, add more salt, black pepper, and any other spice you want to, it has to be a little salty over your taste because we are going to add the sliced cabbage and take off the pot from inside the pressure cooker, let it rest with the lid on the stovetop or a countertop so that the steam will soften the cabbage a little bit for around 10 minutes, but if you like the cabbage soft, add it to the frozen vegetables at the same time.

Guys, it is time to eat, serve it on deep plates, add the torn parsley leaves, and if you want a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. 

See? we are done, pretty good, right? Eating in less than 30 minutes... I am dancing in my kitchen, do you? 💃

Notes: 

This soup is pretty easy, and customizable depending on the vegetables you want to add or take off.

If you will use zucchini, slice it thinly, and add it at the end with the cabbage.

You can halve the recipe or make it double according to your needs or your preferred way of preparing meals and freezing them.
