Green Plantain Bread (Paleo, Gluten-Free, Whole30) |
Green Plantain bread? yes! there are a bunch of recipes for it, and I decided to try it. This one is a mix of others I saw on the internet, I modified measures, and put some ingredients to enhance savor and health. I was worried that it might be turned wrong but it came out perfectly! 😋
I love plantains any way to cook them, green, mature or overripe, like them more than potatoes, this is me, and knowing that they are very healthy, make me feel better.
I like it! and it's a good resource for vitamins, minerals, minerals, low in carbs, nourish fat, fiber very good for your gut health, has protein, and the taste is similar to the first phase of frying the plantains before crushing them to they go to fry again so that they turn crispy when fried tostones or fried plantains are made.
In this post, I talked about what are the benefits to consume plantains, so if you are not familiar with them, you can see them.
I do not recommend letting the bread out of the fridge, 1 day is good, but it can be spoiled in a few days for the composition it has.
Try it and let me know how it was.

My son always tells me that he does not know what I'm going to invent 😕 he always asks me, now what did you do? and it's hard for me to at least he can try something. It is difficult to change eating habits even within the same family, but I will insist until achieving it, do you relate to it?

GREEN PLANTAIN BREAD (Paleo, Gluten-Free, Whole30)

Preparation Time: 5-7 min
Baking Time: 50 min
Total Time: 55 min
The recipe makes around 10 slices
Ingredients:
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Grease a bread pan, set it aside.
Into a food processor throw the plantain slices, eggs, avocado oil, and salt. Blend them until smooth.
Add the other ingredients, let the coconut flour to the end, and wait for 5-10 minutes to absorb the liquid.
Pour it on the bread pan and bake it between 45-55 minutes, depending on your oven, or until a toothpick in the center comes clean.
Enjoy with anything that you like, any kind of butter, a salad, soups, etc. as a breakfast, snack, lunch, or dinner, also as you can see it can be toasted very well.
Note: I like the psyllium husk because it provides protein, fiber, and minerals, and It makes bread have a better consistency and airier. Has a bunch of fiber, so take enough water when you consume it in any variation.
