Hi friends! How life going?

I think it's better now because you are seeing a rich and fudgy brownie in front of you right? 😅 who`s with me? 😍

 Almost all weeks I try to make a new dessert because we need to indulge in food that tastes how we want to, but as you should know it`s preferable to do it at home, so you know exactly what you put in, it`s healthy, nothing is hidden and there are no preservatives. You can choose to make it easy, from scratch, or sometimes with a little more complication, but that food is the shield to combat illness.

That`s why I made these brownies that taste the same as you are seeing them, so delicious, and the best part is they are flourless, good for any person including the little ones, they can be carried to school or work, they have protein, healthy fats, collagen to provide more protein, essential amino acids, and heal our gut, omega 3 fatty acids, the good raw cacao powder with its properties, and spices that are amazing for health too.

This idea comes from one of my previous versions of flourless brownies, but I wanted to include some raw butternut squash into the dough but raw sweet potato can be used instead of, nobody will imagine what`s in there, anddd.. the chocolatey taste and moistness are the best part of those babies.😋 you can`t resist.

Sorry but I like to cut them bigger, what`s the point if I have to take another one, so if you want you can cut them to have smaller ones.

Some people are allergic to nuts, so these are one of those recipes they will love to try, it`s a plant-based and vegan sweet treat that is very easy to do, it`s low in carbs has 8 gr and 5 gr fiber per serving, gluten-free, sugar-free, full of vitamins and minerals, and everybody will love has a piece of this.

FLOURLESS AND SUGAR-FREE BROWNIES (Nut-Free)

Total Time: 40 min
The recipe makes around 16 brownies adjust to your liking




Ingredients:                                                                                
  1. 2 avocados
  2. 4  large eggs
  3. 1 cup cacao powder
  4. 2 cups raw butternut squash or a medium raw sweet potato cubed
  5. 1 cup erythritol, stevia, monk fruit, coconut sugar for paleo or another sweetener 
  6. 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds, avocado or coconut oil
  7. 1 tbsp chia seeds
  8. 1/2 tsp sea salt
  9. 1/4 tsp ginger
  10. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  11. 1 tsp vanilla
  12. 1 scoop collagen peptides
Instructions:

Preheat the oven at 350 F. Grease and line a parchment paper on the bottom, set aside.

Clean and chop the sweet potato/butternut squash in small cubes, throw them in the food processor with the eggs, avocados, and oil. Turn it on and proceed until all is well-mixed and chopped scraping the sides as needed.

Add the rest of the dry ingredients until well combined, you can choose to mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and then put them once into it or one by one. 

Pour batter into the pan.

Bake around 30-35 minutes until set, don`t overbake it.

Take it out of the oven and let it be cool before slicing.

Notes:

They can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week if there is any leftover.

They have between an orange and brown color when they are still warm if you try to cut and take one, once in the fridge they are like the pictures you are seeing here.

The Collagen Peptides does not appear in the Nutrition Facts, mine could vary a little between other brands, but I let it here to sum to the label below.

1 scoop (11 g) = Protein:10 g, Collagen Peptides: 11g, Magnesium: 1 mg, Calories: 36, Calcium: 21 mg, Potassium: 2 mg, and 18 amino acids

The result of protein in each brownie will be 3.62 g approximately.
