There are days that you don´t want to make any food, less make a mess in your kitchen, only your search in your mind, what you could do that does not take time, umm, something simple, right? but that recharges and nourishes you and your family at the same time. This is very easy to make, full of proteins and good fats, gluten-free, keto, paleo, AIP approved.
There we go with one recipe, that it´s delicious and in less than 30 minutes you are eating it.
So, only you have to defrost the cod fillets and voilá, the oven takes care of the rest.
Once you have them defrosted, throw some species, and wrap them, and then put them in your oven on a baking pan.

BACON WRAPPED COD FILLETS (Gluten-Free, Keto, Paleo, AIP)
Preparation Time: 5 min
Baking Time: 20 min
Total Time: 25 min
The recipe makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 cod fillets
- Dash of salt or leave it out
- Dash of fresh black pepper
- Dash of oregano
- Dash of cayenne pepper (you can leave it out)
- Dash of ground ginger
- Dash of onion powder
- Dash of garlic powder
- Dash of dried parsley or cilantro
- 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
- 4 slices of bacon
Instructions:
Oven pre-heat to 375 F.
Marinate de cod filets with the species.

Wrap each one with the bacon slice.

Take them to the oven for 15-20 minutes, depends on your oven if you see that the bacon it´s not crispy enough, turn on the broiler until they are.
You are done!
The side dish could be anything, raw salad, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, sweet potatoes, gluten-free bread, etc. Mine was with mashed cauliflower and vegan parmesan cheese, yummy! 😋
