4 Matcha-Hemp Seeds Ice-Creams with Peppermint Syrup (paleo, Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free, Whole3', Keto, Vegan)

There are a lot of things to try that we don´t know today, I am wishful to do them. I know that I could do them step by step, some are easier, the others are more difficult to make it, but I intend to explore my imagination and try new recipes in the kitchen.

This recipe was one of my inspirations, but it worked well. Is a new developed flavor, but is very pleasant. 😍

The hemp seeds have a strong flavor but at the same time, you can taste the earthy- nutty savor of them. They are called super-food because they are extraordinarily packed with a high percentage of proteins, calories, carbohydrates, fiber, healthy fats (omega-3 and omega-6), vitamins E, folic acid, and B6, minerals such as iron, zinc, potassium, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, sulfur, sodium, and calcium.

 Benefits of the Hemp Seeds:

- Could reduce menopause and premenstrual syndrome.

- Improve digestion and bowel function.

- Assist with skin disorders and allergies.

- A good resource for plant-based protein, that means that you can replace a portion of any meat with them.

- Lower and maintain cholesterol levels and keep heart health.

- Help fight cancer and inflammation.

- Fight arthritis and joint paint.

- Natural appetite suppressant.

Additionally, to this explanation, the Matcha Tea is loaded with health benefits to avoid illness, has multi-nutrients, chlorophyll, caffeine, and antioxidants to maintain the proper function of our bodies, vitamins A, B, K, E, and C, and minerals

Taking those characteristics of both into account, your ice-cream will satisfy your cravings, also is a complete meal with protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals that will fulfill your expectations.

Easy to do, and you don´t need special equipment to make it. Let´s do it!

I have 4 variations to share with you:  coconut cream, bananas, cashew butter, and whipped cream. It is your choice, all are very savory and a healthy option.

First recipe:                                                               
  1. 2 cups of full-fat coconut cream
  2. 4 teaspoons of matcha powder
  3. 3 teaspoons of ground hemp seeds
  4. 1 tablespoon of peppermint stevia syrup
  5. 4 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
  6. Dash of salt
  7. Cocoa stevia syrup (optional for serving)
  8. 1/4 coconut milk or other.

In a bowl whisk the coconut cream until foamy.

Add honey and peppermint syrup, whisk again until well incorporated.

Mix the coconut milk with the matcha powder and ground hemp seeds. Pour a little by little into the foamy mixture, folding them.

Transfer to a  freezer-safe container and let it frozen for about 2-3 hours.

Serve with cocoa stevia syrup or with other things you like. Enjoy!.

Second recipe:

Blend 3 frozen bananas (1 more if they are small) with less honey, about 2-3 tablespoons, and peppermint syrup. 

Add 1/4 cup of milk with 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil.

Taste and adjust how sweet you want it.

Then add the other ingredients and put in your freezer.

Third recipe:

Add to your blender or food processor 2 cups of warm unsweetened cashew butter (warm it in a double boiler). If using salted,  omit the dash of salt.
Around 1/4 cup of milk of your choice.

Follow the same steps.

Fourth Recipe:

In a bowl whisk 2 cups of whipped cream with a dash of salt until foamy.

Add honey, peppermint syrup and whisk again.

Mix matcha powder and the ground hemp seeds,  with the milk.

Gently fold into the whipped cream. 

Follow the same steps.

Note: In all recipes, put a lid on the container, if you don´t have it, put a film on the surface, to avoid the crystallization.

The recipe makes 2-3 servings.
Preparation Time: 10-15 min.
Total Time: 2-3 horas or more (based on freezing time).
