There are a lot of things to try that we don´t know today I would love to try them some are easier others are more difficult to make it, but I intend to explore my imagination and try new recipes in the kitchen each time I go into figuring out the best way to feed my family, are you?

This recipe was one of my inspirations, but it turned very well indeed, you can omit the hemp seeds, and also the peppermint syrup or oil if you want to,  and let only the matcha powder, and you will get any savory ice-cream.

This is a new developed flavor at least for me but is very pleasant 😍 and they are packed with antioxidants, protein, vitamins, and minerals to keep us going on, and be healthy, how it sounds to you? pretty good, right?

So before I start giving you these yummy ice-creams recipes let`s see the properties of the matcha and hemp seeds to do any of those, shall we?

The hemp seeds have a strong flavor but at the same time, you can taste the earthy- nutty savor of them. They are called super-food because they are extraordinarily packed with a high percentage of proteins, calories, carbohydrates, fiber, healthy fats (omega-3 and omega-6), vitamins E, folic acid, and B6, minerals such as iron, zinc, potassium, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, sulfur, sodium, and calcium.

 Benefits of the Hemp Seeds:

- Could reduce menopause and premenstrual syndrome.

- Improve digestion and bowel function.

- Assist with skin disorders and allergies.

- A good resource for plant-based protein, that means that you can replace a portion of any meat with them.

- Lower and maintain cholesterol levels and keep heart health.

- Help fight cancer and inflammation.

- Fight arthritis and joint paint.

- Natural appetite suppressant.

Additionally, to this explanation, the Matcha Tea is loaded with health benefits to avoid illness, has multi-nutrients, chlorophyll, caffeine, and antioxidants to maintain the proper function of our bodies, vitamins A, B, K, E, and C, and minerals

Taking those characteristics of both into account, your ice-cream will satisfy your cravings, also is a complete meal with protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals that will fulfill your expectations.

Easy to do, and you don´t need special equipment to make it. Let´s do it!

I have 4 variations to share with you:  coconut cream, bananas, cashew butter, and whipped cream. It is your choice to do anything that makes your boat floats, all are very savory and a good healthy option for us.

4 MATCHA-HEMP SEEDS ICE-CREAMS WITH PEPPERMINT SYRUP (Paleo, Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free, Whole30, Keto, Vegan)


4 Healthy Matcha-Hemp Seeds Ice-Creams with Peppermint Syrup (Paleo,  Dairyfree, Refined Sugarfree, Vegan, Glutenfree).jpg
                                            



Preparation Time: 10-15 min.
Total Time: 2-3 hours or more (based on freezing time).
The recipe makes 2-3 servings.



Ingredients:   

First recipe using coconut cream:                                                               
  1. 2 cups of full-fat frozen coconut cream
  2. 4 teaspoons of matcha powder
  3. 3 teaspoons of ground hemp seeds
  4. 1/2 tablespoon of peppermint stevia syrup or 3-4 drops of peppermint oil
  5. 4 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
  6. Dash of salt
  7. 1/4 cooled coconut milk or other
  8. Chocolate stevia syrup or another (optional for serving)
Instructions:

In a bowl whisk the frozen coconut cream until foamy.

Add honey and peppermint syrup, whisk again until well incorporated.

In a bowl add the matcha and ground hemp seeds add the coconut milk a little by little until is thick.  Add a third of the foamy mixture to the milk mixture to combine then add it to the foamy mixture and folding it until all is well incorporated and smooth.

Transfer it to a freezer-safe container and let it frozen for about 2-3 hours.

Serve it with chocolate syrup, nuts, or anything that´s you like!  Enjoy!

Second recipe using bananas:

Blend 3 frozen bananas (1 more if they are small) with less honey, about 2-3 tablespoons, and peppermint syrup. 

Add 1/4 cup of milk with 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil.

Taste and adjust how sweet you want it.

Then add and mix the other ingredients and put in your freezer.

Third recipe using cashew butter:

Add to your blender or food processor 2 cups of warm unsweetened cashew butter (warm it in a double boiler).

Add 1/4 cup of milk of your choice, if see it´s thicker add more milk 1-2 tablespoons more at a time.

Follow the same steps.

Fourth Recipe using whipped cream (dairy or another plant-based cream)

In a bowl whisk 2 cups of whipped cream with a dash of salt until foamy.

Add honey, peppermint syrup and whisk again.

Mix matcha powder and the ground hemp seeds,  with 1/4 cup of milk.

Gently fold into the whipped cream. 

Follow the same steps.

Note:  If you don´t add the peppermint syrup you will need more honey, I think 1 or 2 tablespoons more.

In all recipes, put a lid on the container, if you don´t have it, put a film on the surface, to avoid crystallization, then let it on the counter for about 15-20 minutes to enjoy!
