Paleo Coconut Flour Waffles (Gluten-Free, Keto, Nut-free)

Easy, spongy, and healthy paleo recipe to make, gluten-free and nutritious ingredients.

You can make them for sweet breakfast with jam, maple or honey, and fruits, or for salty breakfast with eggs, ham, cheese, or maybe you can substitute any meal accompanied with ground meat, carnitas, chicken, and vegetables. If you will do it as part of a meal, you can put spices and take away their sweetness.

The mine was so simple, I cut the butter and let it melt at the top, then I poured honey, and it was so yummy!... 😋 I was cut it in half because I want you to see the spongy it was.

Nowadays, the contradictions about the properties of Coconut of whether it affects the organism or not are many, the truth is that it has more benefits than bad, in my own opinion. I think the new research has to be done to clarify those issues, but I talk about myself now, I want you to know that I am feeling amazing when I eat it, also I love it!.

Coconut flour is produced by grinding the coconut's internal meat, taking away its milk, and letting the meat dry. it has been growing in popularity in the last years due to its beneficial properties and a good alternative to gluten-free versus other flours and you can bake or cook with it, add your yogurt, etc.

The health benefits are Is high in nutrient density, the persons who have an intolerance to nuts or have celiac disorders can consume it, has proteins, is higher in fiber that can´t digest easily that helps to flush away the toxins in our bodies, has traces of minerals, keeps the normal levels of the sugar in our blood, supports metabolism because has nourishing saturated medium-chain fatty acids called MCFA that helps the body uses them as energy rapidly, more than other fats, has calories and is low in digestible carbohydrates, improves your metabolism, possess antifungal, antiviral and antimicrobial properties.

PALEO COCONUT FLOUR WAFFLES (Gluten-Free, Keto, Nut-free)

Preparation time: Around 5-7 min
Total Time: The time your waffle maker takes
Yield: 4 waffles (depends on the size of your waffle maker (mine is big, Belgian style)

  1. 6 eggs
  2. 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  3. 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  4. 1/3 cup of coconut flour 
  5. 4 tablespoon of melted butter of virgin coconut oil
  6. 1 teaspoon of honey, sugar, or another sweetener


Beat the eggs, stir in melted butter, and salt.

Mix baking powder with coconut flour. 

Throwing little by little the coconut flour over the egg mixture until they have come together, don´t let any lumps.

If you like thinner, you can put any milk you want, but preferably almond milk, coconut milk, or water.

Take your waffle maker, pour a portion of it into and wait for the point of doneness.
